b'March 1, 2021Dear Delta Panels, I am writing to advise that the Insulated Panel Council Australasia Ltd. (IPCA) has had the Fire Test Certificates (FTC) updated to reflect reference changes made in the National Construction Code (NCC) and the name on the FTCs updated to reflect IPCA as the owning body. Under the conditions listed below, IPCA authorises your Company to use these documents to certify that the EPS-FR cored Insulated Sandwich Panel that you manufacture meets the NCC requirements regarding determination of Group Numbers. CONDITIONS OF USE Your Company remains a paid-up financial member of IPCA. These test reports should be read in conjunction with the current version of the IPCA Code of Practice. Panels manufactured must include: oEPS core material to be Class SL (made to AS 1366.3) and include a self-extinguishing fire retardant (FR) material. oSteel skins to be Colorbond steel with a 0.4mm thickness or greater. oSteel skins to be bonded to the EPS-FR core with a two-part heat polymerising adhesive by means of a continuous laminating process. oSlip joints and roll forming processes must provide and interlocking tongue and grove style joint (see diagram below). The Insulated Panel Council Australasia Ltd is the peak industry body for manufacturers, installers & distributors of Insulated Sandwich Panel (ISP)products in Australasia.
