Since 2012, the institute has focused on issues that threaten the well-being of the human family and the health of our common homeeducation, environmental preservation, migration, global health, and just governanceestablishing ongoing relationships with partners to develop and implement policies to create real-world impact.In January 2023, the University of Notre Dame announced an institutional commitment to ending poverty. The Poverty Initiative seeks to establish Notre Dame as a leading university for poverty-related research, student formation, policy, and impact. The Pulte Institute is a vital contributor to this effort.Our work honors human dignity and tackles the systemic causes of poverty, William J.
