Disrespect  Serious disrespect of a fellow scholar or scholars  Serious disrespect of a faculty member, staff member, visitor, volunteer, school transportation provider, or other member of the school community  Using an abusive, vulgar, or profane word or phrase Not being where the scholar is supposed to be  Cutting school, class, or required in- school or after-school activity (including homework make-up, required tutoring, etc.)  Departing, without permission, from class, floor, building, or school- sponsored activity  Refusing to leave an area where the scholar is not supposed to be – or refusing to leave an area where the scholar is distracting others  Obstructing or blocking vehicular or pedestrian traffic Not following consequences  Failing to comply with school-imposed consequences  Behavior that leads to removal from detention, In-school suspension, or another significant consequence through misbehavior. Pattern of misbehavior  Being removed from class/asked to report to the Dean of Students’ office, Principal’s office, or other designated area during class more than one time in a given day   Other consequence deemed appropriate by school staff or the Board of Directors, including, but not limited to, consequences outlined for infractions  In-school suspension  Out-of-school suspension
