b'G O Y D E R G A Z E T T E V O L 3 | A U T U M N 2 0 2 4BURRA CREEK R E E D R E M O V A LCouncil is awaiting final approval from the NativeVegetationCounciltoremovetheovergrownreedsintheBurraCreek.Fromthere,anapplication will be made to the Northern & YorkeLandscapeBoardforapermittoundertakeawater affecting activity.Onceallapprovalsandpermitshavebeenreceived, the water will then be drained, and theturtleswillbetemporarilyre-homedupstream.The reeds will then be mechanically removed.EUDUNDA GANGERS TROLLEYN E W L Y R E S T O R E DTheGangersTrolley,whichsitsproudlyintheEudundaCentenaryGardenshasbeenrestored,thanks to the Eudunda Family Heritage Gallery andlocalsPeterBonner,WillyStalder,GeoffBusch&JasonPfitzner.ThetrolleywasdonatedtotheEudunda Community by the Toune Family back in1997. During that time the trolley deteriorated dueto sitting out in the weather. The locals did not want to see this piece of historyberemovedfromthegardensduetoitsunsafenature,sotheydecidedarestorationbeundertaken.UltimateEngineeringkindlydonatedthesteelwhichwasusedtoreplacetheroof,gutters, engine covers and floor. With a fresh coatof paint, the trolley is now looking like new. Makesureyoucheckitoutnexttimeyouvisitthegardens.
