Tylaskas patented design integrates a simple locking mechanism that allows the pull-pin to be secured captive. Once theshackle is attached, the pull pin can be twisted a half turn and locked inplace so that it doesnt open fromsnagging or flogging. The LP shacklehas the same basic profile and size asother existing pull-pin shackles to allowfor direct replacement. The LP 12 is thefirst in a line of subsequent locking pullpin shackles of larger and smallerdimensions to be made by Tylaska.Actual SizeMP2The new MP2 is now the smallestshackle Tylaska produces. Weighing lessthan 0.5 oz (14 grams), the MP2 has abreaking strength of 2,000 lbs, and aworking strength of 1,000 lbs.
