Choose Lead Block Kit and AccessoriesHarken recommends equipping every furling system with a ratchet lead block kit. Prepare Sail and HeadstayHave a luff tape added to your genoa. Match the sail length to the stay length minus the height of the halyard swivel and lower unit. See sizing information on page 182. MKIV and MKIV Ocean furlers install over the existing turnbuckle. The turnbuckle isJaccessible for adjustment by raising the drum. Some headstays will require cutting and shortening tot Harken toggle. Sometimes only the lower threaded turnbuckletting needs changing. Check with a professional rigger on stay condition before reusing stay. For all units, rod rigging requires a Harken rod adapter stud.
