b'Fire Engineering Assessment, Revision 01 DeltaCool, DeltaSecrectFix, DeltaTrim at 100 mm and 75 mm Fire Performance, Project No. 25367 25367-SFE-FEA-01-Delta Panel Fire Performance 2FIRE ENGINEERING PROVISIONS The proposed Fire Engineering Provisions are required to address departures from the NCC DtS Provisions and are intended to achieve a level of fire and life safety satisfying the Performance Requirements of the NCC and to meet the Clients project objectives. The Fire Engineering Provisions listed and detailed in this section take precedence over the remainder of the document and must be implemented to achieve compliance. All other items of fire and life safety, where not specifically addressed or reviewed as part of this document are to be in accordance with NCC DtS provisions or as accepted by the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) and other Regulatory Authorities. The following proposed Fire Engineering Provisions detail the design measures to be included as part of the Fire Engineering Assessment. Controlled Materials 175 mm thick DeltaCool panel, 100 mm DeltaSecretFix panel, 75 mm DeltaSecretFix panel, 100 mm DeltaTrim panel, and 75 mm DeltaTrim panel is expected to achieve a Group Number of 1 if tested to AS ISO 9705:2003(R2016) and classified against AS 5637.1:2015 on the condition that: a.The core is mineral wool with the specifications outlined in Appendix DSpecifications for the Mineral Wool, with a nominal density of 100 kg/m 3 . b.The mineral wool core shall have a nominal thickness of no less than 74 mm and no greater than 99 mm excluding the peaks within the DeltaTrim profiled skin. c.The peaks on the corrugated DeltaTrim panel shall be completely filled with mineral wool, be no greater than an additional 33 mm onto the thickness of the mineral wool core (for a total thickness of 132 mm of mineral wool at a peak), the lateral width of the peak shall be no greater than 75 mm, and spaced at no less than 250 mm between centres, as indicated in Figure 2-7.d.The steel skins may be pre-painted and shall have a nominal thickness of no less than 0.6 mm inclusive of the painted coating on the internal side of the panel. The external side of the panels shall have a nominal thickness of no less than 0.4 mm inclusive of the painted coating.e.The adhesive layer between the steel skin and the mineral wool does not exceed 1 mm, or a total of 2 mm throughout the entirety of the cross section of the panel in aggregate. f.The joint and corner detailing shall be constructed in accordance with Figure 2-1, Figure 2-2, Figure 2-3,Figure2-4,Figure2-5,andFigure2-6withequivalentfasteners,channels,angles,and sealants.Page 6'
